SCHOOL FOR DRAMA WORKERS IN SOCIAL CARE IN FERRARA

The Intensive workshop, addressed to workers in social care and health sphere, educators, actors, dancers and students, provides the practical approach to the study of subjects such as “the mystery of voice” (primary scream and organic resonators – the voice of the body and the body of the voice – harmonies and chorality – dramatic use of texts and songs); “the hidden energy” (principles of gesturing and time and space rules – self-observation while doing beside the body patterns – the memory of the body and the telling body); “the emotional memory” (dynamic archive of feelings – ruling of the development process of the memories – playwriting and drama composition – transformation of a memory in a theatrical action); “the observation of the conflict” (not-interpretative observation – behavior’s reading through not-verbal language – the conflict as a technique for researching –management of the conflict in the drama game); “playwriting and drama composition”, “the poet actor/improvisation methods for open and closed spaces”.

 

The beginning of the workshop activities will be preceded by the Meeting / Conference (Horacio Czertok. Teatro Nucleo) with a screening of the video “L’Attore in Manicomio – The Actor in Asylum”, diary of the cooperation experience by Cora Herrendorf and Horacio Czertok with Psichiatria Democratica (Democratic Psychiatry) in the process of “asylum destabilization” of OPP in Ferrara, directed by Antonio Slavich in 1977/78.
